Occasionally, our schedules line up and we can take a day to just simply enjoy being together. No plans. No demands. I love the days that we can just be a family. Well today was that day!

We were outside enjoying the warm weather and realized it's only 3 months until Christmas. How can that be? It seems like yesterday was the beginning of summer. But as the clouds covered the sun you could feel a coolness in the air. A gentle reminder that change is coming.

I will keep the memories of this simple day in my heart forever. For me, today was perfect.
