What blocks you from feeling grateful?
Competitiveness, entitlement, comparison, selfishness, distractions... There are many ways that we block gratitude.
I’ll admit that there have been times (more than I care to count) when I have been judgmental and chosen bitterness over gratitude because I felt like someone else undeservingly got what I wanted.
It happens. From a relationship that ends to the job opportunity that passes you by, we often focus on what didn’t work out instead of what did. And guess what...we get more of what we focus on.
Take this time to think about areas of your life that you are not grateful for and why. This helps narrow in on a part of self that you can learn about, take inspired action if called to and make choices that shift focus.
